Today, My mahma found out her parole was denied. I couldnt get a call from her because she had no money on her books. So i gave her some money for stamps, paper and phone time to help with the disappointment. I know she feels like she has nothing left, I understand that feelin. But Soon she shall be released and transferred out here. I miss her so much. But knowing she is safe is what keeps me going. She always asked me to write her a poem, and i do even though they are dark and not happy, she tends to love them. I hope that I can visit her soon cause.

A tiger mother lost her cubs from premature labor, shortly after she became depressed and her health declined. She was later diagnosed with depression. So they wrapped piglets up in tiger cloth, and gave them to the tiger. The tiger now loves these pigs and treats them like her babies.

I got a call from my mahma the other day. She didnt make parole. She wont be going up for another hearing till September. Keeps telling her she will be free in a few weeks.They told her she may be released at the end of 2012. It bothers me knowing that the Justice system in some states string along people for fun. They do not even separate people by crimes in Texas. They put murderers and rapist with simple d.u.i and possession charges. It is ridiculous how some guards treat their inmates. They like to pick sides and are racist to a strong point. One of the units my mother was in, she had told me a guard walked out of the wardens office to the bunk next to my mahma’s and told a inmate who was Asian to get in the hall and started beating her. The guard only did this to those who were not Caucasian. It is an outrage, the Texas justice system and any other system needs to be ran without racism. We already have enough of that out in the free world. What has this world come to when even the Authorities take sides

So I got a letter today from my mahma and a call as well. Her parole hearing results came back. She isnt gonna be released this year. It sucks. I just wanted to break down and punch something till my knuckles would break. I guess Moirae has a different time for her to be released in the future. I just hope I can find someone to drive me to see her when i fly down to Texas to see her. Life is full of disappointments, all you have to do is believe that everything has its time and place of happening. Hopefully soon i will be able to see my mahma and enjoy her company once more. our future is what we make it.

Just got a letter from my mahma. I miss her so much. I know she is were she is at for a reason. to help her get clean and away from the drugs and alcohol. Even though we were more of friend relationship/ than a mother daughter one/ she is becoming more of a mother figure. I have always enjoyed her company while gro…wing up. now that i am stated away and only talk to her once every couple of weeks and get a letter now and than hurts me. I feel as though my only true friend has been taken. I love my mother dearly and wouldnt change my past for anything. Mahma i hope our test comes back neg. I dont know what i would do without you. You are the one true person who has never judged me and has helped me through all the bad. Your my hero. my friend. my mother and my inspiration to continue on with my journey. Love you Mahma.

So today my sister Jenn and I went out to eat. I went to test my blood sugar and she asked to test hers as well. She started to freak out when she was about to prick her finger so I said “just do it, I have to all the time” then she come back at me with ” I don’t have to because i have a working pancreas.” What an ass thing to say haha. Love my sister though. After coming home I went up to the door, knocked and said to her “shut your butt” she then yells from the other side ” i will when i am done.” baha sister moments. Just thought i would share random moments in today’s life.
